Margot Appleton, a junior at Virginia, finished fourth in the women's blue 6-kilometer race in 19:55.6 at the Virginia College and Open meet, which also serves as the NCAA Division 1 Pre-Nationals, at the Panorama Farms Course in Earlysville, Va. The Cavaliers took third with 104 points.
